Ms. Cari Bland brings a diverse range of clinical experience, including in-home counseling, therapeutic group home management, foster care case management, and outpatient therapy. She has supported clients experiencing trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, stress, and adjustment-related concerns.
Her clinical approach is integrative and relational, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, art therapy, and culturally responsive, holistic wellness practices. She has a strong interest in integrative wellness, wellness programming, and group counseling, which she has actively implemented during her tenure at Coppin.
Ms. Bland is committed to creating a safe, collaborative, and goal-oriented therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to address challenges and foster personal growth.
Ms. Bland earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Maryland, Baltimore and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University, with minors in African American Studies and Human Services.
